Caramel "Caramel"
Born: November 25, 1993
Died:  June 27, 2006

Caramel was a pistol! First she'd go out. Then she'd come in. Then she'd go out. Then she'd...well, you get the picture!
Caramel was very healthy, right up to March, 2006.  Diagnosed with heart disease, she progressed down hill very rapidly and finally succumbed at 12 years-7 months. She was a fighter-She gave it her best shot but it wasn't quite good enough.

"Caramel- Who's letting you in and out of the door now?"

"Zeus"
One of our Rescue Pyrs
Born: December, 2003
Died:  June 7, 2006

Zeus, an owner turn-in, was an absolute love! He never
quite got over the 'puppy stage'.  His favorite things, in
no particular order were: Playing, Eating, his Green Rubber Chewy Bone and Being Brushed/Petted!

In January, 2006, Zeus had his first of many cluster seizures.
Even with top vet care and my learning all I could to help
control these seizures, it wasn't enough.
Finally, after 6 months of Zeus losing his quality of life,
it was time to say "Good Bye".

A Special Boy!    A Special Boy!

Emma
"Emma"
Born:  May 11, 1996
Died:  October 11, 2005

Emma, always the chunky one, developed diabetes
at age 9 1/2.  Complications developed-organs were
affected and after a valiant effort on Emma's part, at age 10 1/2, we finally lost her.

Always the snuggler, Emma could  tell when
you didn't feel good...She would lay beside you
trying to keep you warm.  My favorite saying was
"If you don't feel good, put an "Emma" on it!

She is missed!

"Kate"
Born: March 26, 1992
Died:  September 9, 2003

Kate
, at 11-1/2  years of age, in the Fall of 2003, was
sent to the Rainbow Bridge.  At the very end, s
he
had become totally deaf, blind and very
unpredictable in temperament.
The first 11 were good years!

On March 11, 2002, Jester LadyBug's first foal was born dead, 3  1/2 weeks past the due date. It was a beautiful and very large palomino filly, with Southern Jazz & Mack K's Yankee breeding.
It was a tragic loss for LadyBug and for us, but we learned a valuable lesson.
We now use Foal Monitors!

Reba

"Reba"
Born: Mar.23,2001
Died:  ?????

Our beloved Great Pyrenees, one of 2
Pyrenees we used as Livestock
Guardian/Companion Dogs, disappeared
from our ranch in the early morning hours of
December 9, 2002.

We believe she was stolen.
This terrible/retouched photo is the only picture
I have of her as an
adult dog.

She will be in our hearts forever!

"Jake", as we called him, suffered an
extremely severe stifle injury and lost
the use of his right back leg. Despite his
